CALENDAR NOT DISPLAYING DATES CORRECTLY AFTER UPDATING TO IOS 9.0.1

Since the release of IOS 9.0.1, some customers have been reporting that the calendar is not displaying any dates after the 9th. This is caused by Bold Text being selected in Settings -> Display & Brightness.

If you are experiencing this issue, please turn off Bold Text and see if this helps. If this does not fix the problem or you have another problem, please email support@rainlog.com.au with the details of the problem.

This problem will be fixed in the next update.

IMPORTANT UPDATE INFORMATION FOR VERSION 1.6.0.

If you are updating to version 1.6.0 and have iCloud enabled in RainLog and are experiencing some loss of data, please ensure that you have updated ALL devices with RainLog installed and have started RainLog on each device and let it run for a while.

This is very important because if all of the devices are not updated, then any information which was entered from a device which has not been updated to version 1.6.0 will not be transferred across iCloud.

The data structure in this version of RainLog has been upgraded to allow for this update and also future updates, and unfortunately this is just the way iCloud works with an upgrade of this nature.

According to apple, the update could take a little while to complete over iCloud. (Making sure each device with RainLog installed is running RainLog)

If after upgrading all devices you are still experiencing problems, then please get in touch using the Contact form.

NOTE – PLEASE GIVE ICLOUD A WHILE TO TRY AND SYNC UP AND RESTORE THE DATA BY ITSELF BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING DRASTIC LIKE RE-INSTALLING THE APP.

Also when the update is first run, RainLog should automatically create a backup of your data and put it on the backup page. Please email this to yourself for safe keeping.

1. If Rain Log is not opening properly after updating your IOS – The solution to fix this is to delete and Re-Install Rain Log. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MADE A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT DATA AND EMAILED IT TO YOURSELF FIRST.

2. If there is not 2 years or 5 years worth of data entered, the averages are not accurate.

3. A few users are experiencing an issue where the graph total will display more than the actual rainfall which has been recorded. Please see the FAQ page for how to remedy this.
(This should be fixed now. Let me know if you are running the latest version and still experiencing this issue)
